1. Samsung Electronics Introduces Galaxy A8s

Have you heard? Samsung has announced the release of the Galaxy A8s!

The internal drive of 6.4″ FHD+ Infinity-O Display / Snapdragon 710 / 6GB or 8GB RAM / 128GB ROM makes this device quite a heavy-lifter. If you find that 128GB isn’t enough, the Micro SD slot supports an extra 512GB.

On the display is a 6.7mm punch hole camera, and because there haven’t been any mentions of the display being Super AMOLED, there’s a high probability it will be an IPS LCD instead.

The pre-orders start now until December 21st, and it will be released in the colors Blue, Gray, and Green.

Currently, it is only sold in China.

2. Speculations about the Galaxy S10 Display Size

Twitter user Evan Blass has uploaded a picture detailing the most-recent rumors regarding the size of the highly anticipated Galaxy S10.

They are as followed:
Galaxy S10 Lite (5.8″, SM-G970F)
Galaxy S10 (6.1″, SM-G973F)
Galaxy S10+ (6.4″, SM-G975F)

The above three are the expected sizes until we receive more news.

3. Sony Xperia XZ4 / Compact Rendered Images Leaked

CAD renders of the Xperia XZ4 / Compact have been exposed to certain tech news outlets.

According to these sources, these are the specs that we can look forward to for these devices:

6.55 “21: 9 FHD + / Snapdragon 855 / 6GB RAM / 64 or 256GB ROM / 3.5mm auxiliary support / OIS camera / 8.9mm thickness

XZ4 Compact
~5 “/ 139.9 x 66.5 x 9.3mm in size / 3.5mm auxiliary support

4. Rumor and Renders of Google Pixel 3 Lite / XL

Recently, we have disclosed the rumors regarding the Pixel 3 Lite. It seems the Pixel 3 XL Lite is being thrown into that mix.

From the information gathered from our sources, these two devices will have a plastic (polycarbonate) body and will have 3.5mm auxiliary earphone support. The expected screen size is 5.5″ for Pixel 3 Lite and 6″ for Pixel 3 XL Lite.

These devices are expected to be released in January 2019.

5. Release of OnePlus 6T hikes T-Mobile sales by 249%

Within the first 30 days of its release, the OnePlus 6T has increased T-Mobile sales by 249%!

At the moment, OnePlus is preparing to release a 5G smartphone with British telecommunication operator EE.
If this advancement proves to be successful, there is a high chance the same will be introduced in America by T-Mobile or Sprint, as both companies produce a similar frequency band to EE.

6. Xiaomi Play to be released on December 24th

Xiaomi announced the plan to release the Xiaomi Play on December 24th.

This device is expected to be sold only in China and is the rebranding of their Pocophone F1.

7. Xiaomi sells 700,000 units of Pocophone F1

The Xiaomi Global Vice President Manu Kumar has stated on Twitter that the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has sold over 700,000 units in just three months.

8. Xiaomi Plans to Set Up an Official AS Center in South Korea

In order to further improve public relations and outreach, Xiaomi expects to open an Official Service Center in South Korea in Early 2019.
In November, there were meetings and talks held amongst several domestic electronics companies and public relations agencies.

This concept is projected to proceed in February 2019.

9. Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition Announced

Vivo has publicized their new NEX Dual Display Edition smartphone, which is equipped with a front and rear display.

The front screen features a 6.39″ Super AMOLED FHD+ and the rear screen is a 5.49″ Super AMOLED FHD display. The internal hardware for this device is a Snapdragon 845 / 10GB RAM / 128GB ROM with no external memory slot.

For security, the front display includes a built-in fingerprint scanner while the back comes with facial recognition.

This device will be released in China on December 29th and is currently available for pre-order at CNY4,498 (roughly USD$720).

A worldwide release has not yet been confirmed.
