Xperia XZ3 Wine (Red)
A Solid Base and a Beautiful Design
Sony Xperia XZ3
Sony announced powerful device Xperia XZ3 on August 31st.
The XZ3 is receiving various reviews for offering refined design, excellent display and improved camera compared to previous XZ2.

A Curved Design that Provides Excellent Grip
The Xperia XZ3 has an overall curved line, and it gives you a feeling of looking like a well-polished pebble with few angled parts.
The smooth curve applied to the XZ3 not only has a fresh look, but also delivers excellent grip and a charm that conveys a pleasant touch. With Gorilla Glass 5 front and curved rear, the edges of the device are softer and glossier than previous XZ2.
The [Rear Curve Design] of Xperia XZ3 has significantly improved convexity and convenience. Since XZ3 got slimmer compared to XZ2, it’s easy to manage with one hand as well. As a result of using it myself, the device did not wiggle even when I put it on the floor.

Reduced Bezel to Improve Immersion
Xperia XZ3 Display with Reduced Bezel
When it comes to front display, the Xperia XZ3 significantly reduces the thickness of the bezel compared to its predecessor, the XZ2, and improves the immersion experience. Though it is a little thicker than Galaxy S series, it is enough to enjoy the video comfortably.
However, I think that the curvature of the edge display can be divided into likes and dislikes. Although it has the advantage of showing a stylish design, it seems to be a drawback to existing Sony smartphone users who prefer flat display.
Convenient Shooting and Improved Camera Performance
XZ3 with 19.2 Megapixel Camera (Aperture F1.9)
Sony mentioned about the enhanced camera performance of the Xperia XZ3 at the IFA unpacking event, and as a result of the actual shooting, I was able to confirm that I took quite high quality pictures in places where the amount of light was abundant.
Half-shutter button and fast-focus high-fidelity photography were impressive, and I was able to efficiently control ISO and take pictures of consistent quality even in a light-free indoor environment. In particular, the Xperia XZ3 is equipped with an AI technology that automatically turns the camera on, making it more convenient.
However, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) function is not applied to XZ3, which results fail to catch the shake in the low illumination environment.

Overall, I have to admit that both exterior and interior of XZ3 definitely have been improved from previous XZ2. My only issue was the location of the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner seems to be located too low, which results awkward finger position.
Currently, Ringke is developing Xperia XZ3 cases and is planning to deliver the best satisfaction to customers with accurate design and premium quality.
Xperia XZ3 cases to be released this October, so stay tuned!
